We celebrated Thanksgiving on Saturday the 27th due to having a regular workweek as Japan strangely does not feel the need to commemorate the Pilgrims' harvest festival. Waiting until the weekend meant that foreigners could spend enough time cooking to produce real Thanksgiving food and then gather together to consume too much of it without having to worry about work the next day.
There were some non-traditional items; the pad thai (not shown) was a little unusual for Thanksgiving but good nevertheless
There was pie, and it was good
They said "pose for the camera". I'm not sure what they were expecting to happen.
Happy Thanksgiving!
